Premiership league table
After a solid start to this season, including impressive wins over title-contenders Man Utd ( ) and at Chelsea ( ), Liverpool lost at Spurs (1-2), conceding a last minute goal and they had some fortune of their own at home to Atletico, as they were awarded a highly-contentious last-minute penalty to draw 1-1.
West Brom avoided their 4th straight defeat in the Premiership last weekend, drawing 2-2 at home to Blackburn, yet they were helped with the sending off of Rovers’ striker Benni McCarthy late in the first half.

Defensively, there are major concerns for Tony Mowbray’s side and they have conceded 11 goals in their last 4 league games; with losses against two of the other sides in the “big four” (at Arsenal 0-1 and at Man Utd 0-4), bookies expect another loss for West Brom, pricing the Liverpool win at an average of $1.21.
Fernando Torres should return after missing a number of games through injury and though Liverpool were coping, his goalscoring instincts may have been missed at Spurs and against Atletico as Liverpool could have won both games with better finishing.
Against a West Brom that are gifting goals to the opposition at the moment, Liverpool can bet back on track and should be able to win comfortably; However with the fixed odds and the handicap (at a best of $1.73) too short to take, a smaller stake on the HT/FT may be the best option.
Liverpool have been drawing at half-time in 4 out of their last 5 home domestic victories, and though many expect a comfortable home win, West Brom showed resilience at Man Utd for at least the first half (drawing 0-0 at HT), even if they collapsed in the second period to lose 0-4; the X/1 HT/FT at $5.00 from VCbet could be worth a small stake.
