Premiership league table
Fulham lost a late goal last week to lose 0-1 to Everton. Their 2-0 win over Wigan a fortnight ago is now their only victory in 7 Premiership games.
They seem to have trouble scoring as they did at times last season. They have scored just 8 goals so far, though they have managed to pick up draws courtesy of their defensive record (just 9 conceded).
That should give them a chance coming into this game, but they will find themselves up against a rejuvenated Newcastle.

Manager Joe Kinnear has taken a little while to find his feet at the North-East club, but they are starting to now win and in style. They beat an in-form Aston Villa last week, their second win in a row.
The derby defeat at Sunderland has been their only loss in five games and they now lie in 14th.
Newcastle have still failed to win away from home and they've yet to even keep a clean sheet on the road. But, with Fulham's attacking threat not particularly strong, Newcastle might be able to control this game.
They have scored nine goals in five games - in four of those games they have managed to score two goals in a game.
Fulham haven't been too strong at home against the better sides. Last year, they were 2-3-8 at home to sides in the top 13; Newcastle are able to get into that category again this year and are also able to repeat last year's result when they won in London.
Newcastle are a decent price to win this game - their lack of away victories so far and Fulham's tight defence sees odds of over $3.00 - but they look the in-form team in this match-up and they will welcome back Michael Owen to the squad, though he may start on the bench.
