Saturday evening's Premiership game sees the bottom club host the league's leaders. West Brom, who were expected to fare best of the newly promoted clubs, find themselves in a rut and won't be looking forward to welcoming Phil Scolari's side.

Chelsea were knocked out of the Carling Cup in midweek, losing on penalties to Championship side Burnley, but they have been very strong in the Premiership.

The worry is that they took the Carling Cup game seriously and with that game being at home, they have shown some worrying signs at Stamford Bridge with two home draws and a home defeat in the Premiership already.

Away from home - in the Premiership at least - they have a perfect record, with 6 wins from 6 away games, with their last victory - and game - being the 2-0 win over Blackburn last week.

West Brom are winless in five games, picking up just one point in that time. Last week, they were brushed aside 0-3 at Liverpool and they might well expect a similar result on Saturday.

West Brom have failed to score in five of their 12 Premiership games this season; admittedly, only one of these have been at The Hawthorns, but they are taking on a side adept at keeping clean sheets.

Chelsea have won 9 games this season in the league and in 8 of those they have prevented the opposition from scoring. In total, they have conceded just 4 goals in 12 Premiership games.

Last year, Chelsea won all 10 away games against sides in the bottom half of the table - despite their surprise defeat on penalties on Wednesday, they should once again find the opposition easy enough to handle. The odds on $1.33 confirm that the bookies won't be surprised by such a result.
