Favourites to be relegated by all bookies, there's a lack of quality throughout the side and it's worth mentioning that Istres, who Bazdarevic guided to promotion in 2003/04, finished the following season in 20th.
The difference this time is that there is a bit of money behind the club and ambition was demonstrated by the building of a new stadium, Stades des Alpes, which holds an increased capacity of 20,000.
17th - and safety - is not unlikely given the presence of the experienced Jemmali, Batlles and Moreira.
