Correa is now in his twelfth season at Nancy and his sixth as a coach. In his time as coach, he has guided them to promotion from Ligue 2, won the Coupe de la Ligue and, last season, took the club to 4th place and UEFA Cup qualification.

Andre Luiz Silva, the Brazilian centre-back, is now in his fourth season at Nancy and has been instrumental in Correa's plans at Nancy since joining from Atletico Mineiro.

Summary:
Last season, despite finishing fourth, the top-scorers at the club managed just six goals, the worst club top-scorer in the league aside from bottom club Metz. Three players hit six goals, whilst two hit five. This at least shared responsibility, but the key lay in the defensive record (30 goals conceded being the league's joint-best).
Correa's defensive obsession has seen him strengthen further at the back but goal-scoring may continue to be a problem, the sale of Kim (one of the top-scorers) may prove problematic.
The heights of fourth can't be expected again, but a solid and reliable defence should see a 7th to 9th place finish easily enough.
