Dortmund, likewise have been a hard side to beat, home and away this season, and they have just one loss in the league so far (away to Hoffenheim 1-4); away from home they have picked up decent results at Werder (3-3) and Bayer Leverkusen (3-2) and their resilience could thwart Hamburg.

Against the bigger sides, Dortmund have competed well, even if they have occasionally not had enough to take the wins; they have drawn against Schalke (3-3), Bayern (1-1) and Werder this season and can again upset the favourites here.
