La Liga table
Valencia's 3-0 win at Getafe seemed to have got Unai Emery's team back on track in their title challenge after a fairly poor period which saw them lose and draw in the league and draw at home to Kobenhavn in the UEFA Cup.
However, it's unlikely Valencia can continue their challenge for the whole season but they do look like a top six team so far this season and that has been helped by their goalscoring exploits.
Their last home game in the league saw them lose to their bogey side Racing, but even then they managed to score two goals in the 2-4 loss. In all, they have scored 14 in 5 home games in La Liga and they won again - 3-0 - in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, albeit an easier affair against lower league Portugalete.

At home, Valencia have won four from their five games and with those goals in mind they take on a side who have conceded the most in the league.
Gijon have shipped 23 goals so far, but 17 of those were against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Sevilla.
They have fared far better against the other teams in the division and had won four in a row before losing out 0-1 at Racing last week.
But this is another game against one of the top teams in the league and Emery has got the team believing they can compete again at the top end of the table after an atrocious season last year.
Gijon's main goal threat - they have scored 16 goals, the most of any team outside the top seven - comes from Croatian Mate Bilic, one of only two foreigners in the squad. He scored a hat-trick in that 3-4 defeat at Sevilla, but has otherwise confined himself to scoring against sides currently in the relegation zone.
Valencia are capable of keeping the Croatian and Gijon quiet - Emery's team are defensively usually sound (but for that game against Racing) and they have managed to keep six clean sheets in their ten league games so far.
Whilst Gijon have been thrashed in the games against Barcelona (1-6) and Real Madrid (1-7) and have been a lot tighter in their other losses this season, they take on a Valencia side who are in the habit of scoring, particularly at the Mestalla and with the Valencia win on $1.42, the Handicap Valencia win (V -1 goal) at $2.10 does appeal.
