DEPORTIVO v SEVILLA
Date: Saturday 10th January
Time: 19.00 GMT
Competition: La Liga
This is the second of a triple-header between the sides, with their Copa Del Rey tie sandwiching this league game (Sevilla won 2-1 at home on Wednesday in the first leg); Depor sit in 6th place just two points and two places below Sevilla and have some good form behind them.
Deportivo have 7-2-0 from their last 9 in the league (with both of those losses coming away from home) and they have won their last 4 on the trot at home.
Sevilla have also had some good form, taking 4-3-1 from their last 8 (with that loss coming against high-flying Barcelona), but two draws in a row in the league against the bottom 2 sides Osasuna (1-1) and Mallorca (0-0) suggests that they may be about to stumble against better opposition.

They did win against Depor midweek, but that was at home, and Depor have been in great form in A Coruna of late; including their Uefa Cup and Copa Del Rey games, Depor have now won their last 7 home games in a row, conceding just twice.
Depor’s overall home record this season in all competitions has been impressive (11-2-1) and since this time last year, they have had an outstanding 19-3-2 record at home, which has included wins over Barcelona and Real Madrid (twice); they are a serious force at the Estadio Riazor.
Sevilla have been resilient away from home over the past year, losing only 3 times in their last 17 away games in La Liga, but one of those losses was at Depor last season (1-2) and Depor’s home record and form may just be too strong for the Andalusian side.
Sevilla’s win in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday may make punters a little wary of betting too heavily on the home win, but at odds of $2.70 from Bet365, Depor still look good value.
